On Tuesday, Anson got the win against Monroe by a conclusive 3-0.
Meanwhile, Central Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak last Tuesday. They came up short against West Stanly, falling 3-0.
The final score came out to 25-6, 25-17, 25-10.
Anson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Central Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
Anson beat Central Academy 3-1 in their previous matchup back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for Anson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
