Dimond waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Anchorage Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Lynx, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Dimond was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-9, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Elena Snow, who had nine digs and two assists. Piper Botson also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Dimond was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 2.6 aces per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 10.6.

Dimond's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for West Anchorage, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Dimond didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Chugiak on the 16th. As for West Anchorage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Bettye Davis East Anchorage on the 16th.
