Recap: Benavides Eagles vs. Faith Academy Knights
On Friday, Benavides was beaten by Faith Academy 74-28.
When it comes to explaining why Benavides lost, one person who can't be blamed is Shane Ryan. Despite the final result, he rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Ryan hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for four straight games.
Luke Wicklein was his usual excellent self, rushing for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, while also catching a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Noah Figueroa, who threw for 90 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Benavides' loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Faith Academy, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Benavides does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Faith Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
