Football Recap: Woodland Starts Season with Win on the Road + How To Watch

The Wolfpack had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 48-13 victory over the Woodland Wildcats. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Wolfpack just coasted through the last quarter.

Brayden Rogers had a dynamite game, throwing for 255 yards and five TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 110 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. Those five passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Mokiece Jones Jr was another key player, picking up 97 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

The Wolfpack have already played their next matchup, a 20-16 win against the Greyhounds on the 22nd. As for the Wildcats, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 33-7 loss against the Wolverines on the 22nd.
