Warden came into Friday's matchup having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the River View Panthers with a sharp 63-43 victory on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cougars have posted since January 23rd.

Warden's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for River View, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Warden won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Columbia at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Columbia will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Warden surely won't give up without a fight. As for River View, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Granger at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Granger's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
