The Columbus International Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Linden-McKinley at home to the tune of 73-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Columbus International has posted since December 14, 2023.
Columbus International found their leader in underclassman Leila Carter, who dropped a triple-double on 44 points, 13 rebounds, and 14 steals. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which Carter has scored at least a third of Columbus International's points. Annazai Ingram-cross was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds.
Columbus International is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Linden-McKinley, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7.
