Softball Recap: Eau Claire Takes a Loss

Eau Claire fell victim to Chester and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 16-0 to the Cyclones. The defeat leaves the Shamrocks still looking for their first win of the season.

Eau Claire's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Chester, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chester beat Eau Claire by a score of 18-0 later that day.
