Soccer Game Preview: Tooele vs. Stansbury

The Tooele Buffaloes will face off against the Stansbury Stallions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tooele is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Tooele is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Jordan get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Stansbury sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Hillcrest on Tuesday.

Tooele pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three matchups. As for Stansbury, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Tooele was able to grind out a solid victory over Stansbury in their previous matchup back in March, winning 3-1. Will the Buffaloes repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
