Basketball Recap: Charlotte Performance Institute Comes Up Short

Charlotte Performance Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Leuzinger Olympians on the road by a 64-49 margin.

Leuzinger's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jace Jones, who posted 13 points. Joshua Garland was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Charlotte Performance Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Leuzinger, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Charlotte Performance Institute will square off against Westminster Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Leuzinger, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 78-74 victory against Woodrow Wilson on the 11th.
