Soccer Game Preview: Mount Tahoma vs. Lincoln

Mount Tahoma is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Lincoln a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Mount Tahoma T-Birds will be playing at home against the Lincoln Abes at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mount Tahoma's offense. They lost 7-0 to Central Kitsap on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Mount Tahoma can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 221st, while Central Kitsap are ranked 42nd).

Meanwhile, Lincoln scored the most goals they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Silas, falling 7-4. Even if Lincoln couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mount Tahoma, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1.
