Preview: Bismarck Indians vs. Greenville Bears
Bismarck is 0-3 against Greenville since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bismarck Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Greenville Bears at 7:00 p.m. Bismarck has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Even though Delta scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, Bismarck still came out on top. Bismarck sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 65-62 win over Delta.
It was another big night for Sven Wilson, who almost dropped a double-double on 34 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Daven Miller, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Meanwhile, Greenville unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to South Iron 51-47. While losing is never fun, Greenville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while South Iron is ranked 44th).
Bismarck's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Greenville, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.
Bismarck might still be hurting after the 66-45 loss they got from Greenville in their previous meeting back in December of 2018. Can Bismarck avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
