Basketball Game Preview: Clover Garden School Grizzlies vs. Bethany Community Wolves + How To Watch

The Clover Garden School Grizzlies will face off against the Bethany Community Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Clover Garden School and four for Bethany Community.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Clover Garden School and Falls Lake had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Grizzlies took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Firebirds on Monday.

Despite their defeat, Clover Garden School saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Charlie Castaneda, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 13 boards, was perhaps the best of all. With that strong performance, Castaneda is now averaging an impressive 17 points per game. Another player making a difference was Jaquan Brown, who posted 12 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Bethany Community suffered their biggest loss since January 31st on Wednesday. They had to suffer through an 88-39 loss at the hands of Ben L. Smith. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Wolves' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Like Clover Garden School, Bethany Community lost despite seeing results from several players. Elijah Harvey led the charge by putting up 11 points. Ajak Ajak was another key player, posting eight points.

Clover Garden School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bethany Community, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest-scoring teams around. Clover Garden School hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 58.2 points per game. However, it's not like Bethany Community struggles in that department as they've been averaging 60.2 points.
