Softball Recap: Burroughs Takes a Loss

Burroughs lost against Serrano back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Burros took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Diamondbacks. The Burros' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Jadyn Green was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Lorrain Gamble, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

Burroughs' defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Serrano, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-10 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Burroughs will face off against rival Sultana at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Serrano is set to challenge their familiar foe Hesperia at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
