Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norton). Everything went their way against the Solon Comets on Friday as they made off with a 14-1 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Panthers with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory was the third in a row for Norton, bringing their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Solon, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Norton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-0 victory against Cloverleaf on the 22nd. As for Solon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-6 loss against Holy Name on the 19th.
