Recap: Oak Mountain Eagles vs. Helena Huskies
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chelsea, the Oak Mountain Eagles were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Helena with a sharp 53-32 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Oak Mountain also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Helena lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Isabel Heintz, who scored nine points along with six steals. Another player making a difference was Amari Grant, who scored nine points.
Oak Mountain's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-20. As for Helena, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-19.
Oak Mountain will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. McAdory is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Helena, they will face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pelham is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
