There's no place like home for Valley Center, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens 10-0 on Friday. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Jaguars yet this season.

Jacob Janata made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Daniel Subish, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March. Jonathan Teter was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

Valley Center hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Canyon Crest Academy struck out 15 times.
