Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oakland). They claimed a resounding 57-23 win over the Siegel Stars. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Stars are ranked 318th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oakland's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Siegel, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Oakland has already played their next match (against Blackman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Siegel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-14 defeat against Rockvale on the 21st.
