Basketball Recap: Lindblom Takes a Loss

Lindblom and Hyde Park squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lindblom had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hyde Park Thunderbirds by a score of 56-54. The Eagles have struggled against the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Lindblom's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Hyde Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-15 record this season.

Lindblom does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hyde Park, they will challenge St. Laurence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with St. Laurence sitting on 12 straight wins and Hyde Park on five.
