Basketball Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Clayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Calvary Day School Cougars 83-54.

Leading Calvary Day School to victory were Owen Calvert and Luca Sarnowska. Calvert posted 26 points and three steals, while Sarnowska scored 22 points. Calvert's big performance that afternoon made it 22 games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Autry, who earned 11 points and eight boards.

Clayton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Calvary Day School, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Clayton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-39 victory against East Wake on the 25th. As for Calvary Day School, they have also already played their next matchup, a 92-48 loss against Concord Academy on the 24th.
