Van Horn piles up the points against Fort Davis

The Van Horn Eagles can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They really took it to Fort Davis for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-9 victory at home. With Van Horn ahead 23-3 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Van Horn got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gio Corralez out in front who scored 16 points along with five assists and three steals. Corralez is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last four games he's played. Joey Anchondo was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.

Van Horn pushed their record up to 20-9 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Fort Davis, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.

Coincidentally, Van Horn and Fort Davis will both be playing Big Bend the next time they take the court. Fort Davis will host Big Bend at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Van Horn will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
