Softball Recap: Hercules Takes a Loss

After flying high against Richmond on Friday, Hercules came back down to earth. The Titans came up short against the Piedmont Highlanders on Monday, falling 15-3.

Hercules' loss dropped their record down to 12-7-1. As for Piedmont, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Hercules will head out to challenge Emery at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Piedmont, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Saint Mary's at 4:00 p.m.
