Softball Game Preview: Walhalla Razorbacks vs. Belton-Honea Path Bears

The Walhalla Razorbacks will challenge the Belton-Honea Path Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Walhalla has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Belton-Honea Path will arrive with four straight victories.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Walhalla's offense. They came up short against West-Oak on Tuesday, falling 13-0. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Meanwhile, Belton-Honea Path had just enough and edged out Woodmont 2-1 on Monday. That's two games straight that the Bears have won by just one run.

Walhalla's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Belton-Honea Path, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Walhalla suffered a grim 15-0 defeat to Belton-Honea Path when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Razorbacks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
