Softball Game Preview: Mount St. Mary Academy Belles vs. Greenbrier Panthers

The Mount St. Mary Academy Belles will venture away from home to take on the Greenbrier Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount St. Mary Academy's hitters haven't had much luck over their past eight matches, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mount St. Mary Academy fell victim to Benton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier came up short against White Hall on Monday and fell 9-5.

Lynlee Thomas was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Thomas was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

In other batting news, Ellison Miller was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Mount St. Mary Academy's record now sits at 4-12. As for Greenbrier, their record is now 9-12.
