Soccer Game Preview: Sun Valley vs. Weddington + How To Watch

Sun Valley hasn't had much luck against Weddington recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Spartans will take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Sun Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Sun Valley barely beat West Charlotte the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 5-0 win on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Sun Valley considering their one-goal performance the match before.

They hit West Charlotte with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Braden Carr (3), Grayson Bloom, and Eros Jimenez.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Weddington's offense. They came up short against Ardrey Kell on Tuesday, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Weddington haven't been shut out since back in September.

Weddington now has a losing record of 6-7-3. As for Sun Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9-2.

Sun Valley couldn't quite get it done against Weddington when the teams last played back in September as they fell 4-2. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
