League recap: Kelly throws longest pass in league this season for Susquehannock

Fans got a thrill when Colin Kelly and Nick Tannura connected against Spring Grove. The longest such play in York-Adams 2 this season, the connection resulted in 60 yards.

New Oxford was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to third in the league. The Colonials vanquished James Buchanan 55-14 earlier in the week.

Tannura was the best wideout in the league this week as Susquehannock lost to the Rockets. Sammy Miller helped Susquehannock's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 13 yards.

Sabastian Venable made the biggest impact on defense this week as Northeastern lost to Columbia. The 5-foot-10 junior.

Wesley Beans was the best running back in York-Adams 2 this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 126 yards as New Oxford fell to Spring Grove. Josh Shultz also contributed to the rushing game with 59 yards on the ground.

Marcus Josey was a passing and rushing force as the Bobcats fell to the Crimson Tide. He completed 4 passes for 120 yards and also ran for 74 yards.

Kyle Amrhiem put up the best numbers through the air as Kennard-Dale lost to Milton Hershey. He finished with 5 completions for 95 yards and 2 touchdowns. Amrhiem's favorite target this week was Mike Young, who caught 2 passes for 54 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Northeastern's Josey and Gary Gobernick have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Josey has thrown for 244 yards this season, while Gobernick has 3 catches for 90 yards. Jason Thurston's team's Beans leads the league in rushing yards with 223.

The Colonials took down the Rockets 55-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Beans caught 2 passes for 35 yards during the win.
