Baseball Recap: Rock Falls Comes Up Short

Rock Falls and Winnebago pushed the score to 15-8 the last time they played Winnebago, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Rockets took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-8 on Thursday.

Rock Falls has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-17-1 record this season. As for Winnebago, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-20.

Rock Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winnebago, they will square off against Lincoln Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
