Basketball Recap: Forest Park Wins Going Away Against Gar-Field

Gar-Field typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Forest Park proved too difficult a challenge. They strolled past the Gar-Field Red Wolves with points to spare, taking the game 66-47. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-39 back in December of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Gar-Field saw an underclassman step up: freshman Braylan Bell posted nine points. Bell also posted a block, marking his first of the season. Jonathan Jason Bell was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Forest Park's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Gar-Field, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-6.

Forest Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-52 victory against Greensville County on the 25th. Gar-Field has also already played their next game, a 53-49 loss against North Stafford on the 25th.
