Ethan Johnson made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Ty Messley was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. Kyler Reece was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Ash Grove now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Weaubleau, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Ash Grove will square off against Early at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Weaubleau, they will face off against Hermitage at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
