Basketball Game Preview: West Delaware Hawks vs. Grinnell Tigers

The West Delaware Hawks will face off against the Grinnell Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

West Delaware is headed into the match having just posted their biggest win since January 7th on Saturday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 67-38 victory over Independence. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, everything went Grinnell's way against Vinton-Shellsburg on Friday as Grinnell made off with a 45-24 win. The Tigers have beaten the Vikings the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Vikings has come to flipping the script.

The victory made it two in a row for West Delaware and bumps their season record up to 12-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Grinnell, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.
