Softball Game Preview: Grayson County Cougars vs. Owensboro Red Devils

For the second straight game, Grayson County will face off against Owensboro. The Cougars will take on the Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grayson County has given up an average of 7.9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Grayson County's last matchup with Owensboro could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 13-2 to the Red Devils. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Red Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

Grayson County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Bowman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Owensboro moved to 11-19 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Grayson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.
