Yuma is 0-3 against Highland since April of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Indians are taking a road trip to square off against the Huskies at 3:30 p.m. Yuma will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
On Saturday, Yuma made easy work of Sedgwick County and carried off a 9-1 victory. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight runs or more this season.

Reyli Trejo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 18 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lennox Huwa, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Christian Thomson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Highland came up short against Lyons on Saturday, falling 10-2.
Byron Berkheimer made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double.
Yuma's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Yuma has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Highland struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Yuma couldn't quite finish off Highland in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 and fell 7-5. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
