Recap: Alpha Omega Academy Lions vs. Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights
The Alpha Omega Academy Lions''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They suffered a rough 74-50 defeat at the hands of Hill Country Christian School of Austin. Alpha Omega Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.
Ethan Howard had an outrageously good game for Hill Country Christian School of Austin as he rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 236 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes. Another player making a difference was Kyler Conner, who gained 171 total yards and three touchdowns.
Alpha Omega Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 4-2. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 6-1 Hill Country Christian School of Austin and 4-2 Alpha Omega Academy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 63.3% over those games). As for Hill Country Christian School of Austin, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
Alpha Omega Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hill Country Christian School of Austin is also done with their season.
