Basketball Recap: Legacy Victorious

Legacy won the last time they faced Boulder, and Olivia Mortensen did her part to make sure it happened again. The Legacy Lightning narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Boulder Panthers 55-52 thanks in part to Mortensen, who dropped a double-double with 40 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Legacy's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Martin, who posted four points in addition to six steals and five boards. Those six steals gave her a new career-high.

Legacy's record now sits at 13-10. As for Boulder, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.
