Volleyball Recap: St. Peter's Spartans vs. Medina Christian Academy Knights
St. Peter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Medina Christian Academy Knights. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-6.
Ava Abramczyk was the offensive standout of the game as she had 14 assists and three aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.
St. Peter's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Medina Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Coming up, St. Peter's will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Comets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Medina Christian Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Brooklyn on the 4th.
