Basketball Recap: Coltan Porter Key Part of Team Effort in Sobos Win + How To Watch

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely South Beloit's strategy against Westlake Christian Academy on Monday. The Sobos strolled past the Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 76-60. The Sobos haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

South Beloit's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Coltan Porter led the charge by shooting 45% from the field on his way to 24 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Porter's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. Nico Noble was another key player, dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten boards.

South Beloit smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

South Beloit now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Westlake Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
