The Westbrook Christian Warriors will take on the Vinemont Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Westbrook Christian will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
On Friday, Westbrook Christian took their contest with ease, bagging a 48-6 win over Wellborn. Considering the Warriors have won eight matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Brody Blevins produced another solid effort throwing for 172 yards and three TDs while completing 73.7% of his passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Brodey Wood helped Blevins out on the ground, rushing for 57 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 18 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Gavin Michael, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Westbrook Christian's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Easton Skaggs, Jonathan Hersman, and Carter Cothran, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 47-7, which was the final score in Vinemont's tilt against Winfield two weeks ago. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Westbrook Christian will have to contain Josh Rhodes as he made an impact in Vinemont's last game. He rushed for 86 yards and one score on only seven carries.
Westbrook Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Vinemont, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Everything came up roses for Westbrook Christian against Vinemont when the teams last played back in September of 2019, as the squad secured a 35-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
