The Muskego Warriors will square off against the Oconomowoc Raccoons at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Muskego's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Oconomowoc's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Muskego easily dispatched Beaver Dam on Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Warriors fell just short of Arrowhead by a score of 4-2 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

04/26/25 vs Hamilton | 7 |
04/15/25 @ Kettle Moraine | 6 |
Kyleigh Sadler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Reese Heinrich was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Oconomowoc hadn't beaten Kettle Moraine on the road since April 28, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. The Raccoons had just enough and edged out the Lasers 3-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 25, 2023, but that streak is no more.
Oconomowoc also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Kelsey Yambor gave up just two earned runs on five hits.
On the hitting side, Macy Brazelton was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double. Another player making a difference was Finnley Bolson, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Oconomowoc's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Muskego, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-5.
Muskego came out on top in a nail-biter against Oconomowoc in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
