Volleyball Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

Arlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Rancho Verde Mustangs. The Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 25-16.

Isaiah Chavez paced Arlington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Chavez got some help from Sebastian Torres and his 15 assists.

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Rancho Verde, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Arlington has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against JW North on the 1st. As for Rancho Verde, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Poly on the 1st.
