Llano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Milano Eagles. One positive for the Yellowjackets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Llano's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Konrad Zwicke, who posted ten points. Caden White was another key player, putting up nine points.

Llano's defeat dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Milano, they moved to 5-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

It'll be a Battle of the Bugs the Llano Yellowjackets duke it out with the Caldwell Hornets at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday. Llano is facing Caldwell at the right time seeing as Caldwell is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Milano, they will face off against Holland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
