Basketball Game Preview: Great Bridge vs. Grassfield

The Grassfield Grizzlies are staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Great Bridge Wildcats. Grassfield staggers in eager to bring about an end to their three-game losing streak.

The Grizzlies were just a three-ball shy of a victory on Tuesday and fell 38-36 to Hickory. The defeat was a vexing one since Grassfield was expected to win based on their ranking.

Meanwhile, we expected Great Bridge to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Indian River on Tuesday, and they did. Great Bridge ended up on the wrong side of a painful 84-54 walloping at Indian River's hands.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
