Baseball Recap: Warner Robins Comes Up Short

Warner Robins made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Perry, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Demons fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 12-10 on Thursday. The Demons haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

J Hunter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kameron Lester, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Warner Robins' defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Perry, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Perry beat Warner Robins by a score of 11-2 later that day.
