Basketball Recap: Brooklyn Miller and Maggie Jo Church Secure Win for Gospel Light Christian

Gospel Light Christian won against Vandalia Christian last Friday with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Gospel Light Christian walked away with a 49-36 victory over the Union Grove Christian Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 35-33 back in November of 2024.

Leading Gospel Light Christian to victory were Maggie Jo Church and Brooklyn Miller. Church dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds, while Miller went 7 for 15 on her way to 20 points and six steals. Church is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last seven games she's played. Ali Phillips was another key player, putting up seven points and seven rebounds.
