Baseball Recap: Tates Creek Commodores vs. Lafayette Generals

After losing to Lafayette the last time they met, Tates Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tates Creek Commodores blew past the Lafayette Generals 12-3.

Carson Van Haaren spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cooper Jackson, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Seigler, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, a triple, and two RBI.

The win got Tates Creek back to even at 15-15. As for Lafayette, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.

As of now, neither Tates Creek nor Lafayette have any future games scheduled.
