Soccer Recap: Shelley Comes Up Short

Shelley lost against Idaho Falls on September 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Russets fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2.

Miguel Chavez and Tristan Howell scored both of Shelley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Shelley's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Idaho Falls, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-1-2 record this season.

Shelley didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Skyline on the 1st. Idaho Falls has also already played their next matchup (against Century), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
