Soccer Game Preview: McKinney vs. Rock Hill

The McKinney Lions will head out to challenge the Rock Hill Blue Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rock Hill took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on McKinney, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when McKinney faced off against Plano East on Friday. McKinney sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Plano East.

Meanwhile, Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Plano. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Blue Hawks couldn't quite close it out.

Rock Hill now has a losing record at 5-6. As for McKinney, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7-1.

McKinney beat Rock Hill by a goal when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 1-0. Does McKinney have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rock Hill turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
