If Trinidad wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Raton, they should've done a better job of containing Chase Walton. The Raton Tigers took down the Trinidad Miners 44-29 on Monday with plenty of help from Walton, who dropped a triple-double with 12 points, ten rebounds, and ten blocks. Those ten blocks gave him a new career-high.

Cannon Walton was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Raton now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Trinidad, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Raton has already played their next contest, a 55-53 win against Tucumcari on the 20th. As for Trinidad, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 36-33 victory against Sangre de Cristo on the 21st.
