Soccer Game Preview: Snow Canyon vs. Crimson Cliffs

For the first time this season, Snow Canyon will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will venture away from home to square off against the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Snow Canyon came up short against American Fork and fell 4-2. Snow Canyon have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Noah Crowton and Adrian Lopez scored both of Snow Canyon's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crimson Cliffs). They blew past Hurricane 8-1 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Crimson Cliffs and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matchups. As for Snow Canyon, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Snow Canyon couldn't quite get it done against Crimson Cliffs when the teams last played back in April of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
