Basketball Recap: Soddy Daisy Takes a Loss

Soddy Daisy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 49-34 to the Chattanooga Christian Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 70-61 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2022.

Katie Davick was a one-woman wrecking crew for Chattanooga Christian as she went 8 of 20 on her way to 24 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Millie Fox, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

Soddy Daisy now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Chattanooga Christian, their record now sits at 10-2.

Soddy Daisy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-12 win against Brainerd on the 3rd. As for Chattanooga Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 70-57 victory against Boyd-Buchanan on the 3rd.
