SAM HALL and CODY ELLS were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, HALL pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, ELLS kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. At bat, HALL got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while ELLS went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, COOPER THOMAS and CHASE ENGLE did most of the damage at the plate: THOMAS went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI, while ENGLE went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. COLT KELLEY was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
