Valencia won the last time they faced Hart and things went their way on Thursday too. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Hawks 3-2. Surprisingly, this marked the Vikings' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Valencia took Hart into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-13, 25-22, 19-25, 15-10.

Valencia has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season. As for Hart, they dropped their record down to 4-16 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Valencia will face off against rival Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hart is set to take on their familiar foe Castaic at 5:00 p.m. on October 3.
